Vole BaitVole Bait - Vole baits like ZP rodent bait, d-Con Mouse Prufe and Rodex whole wheat rat & mouse poison are an efficient way to get rid of troublesome voles. It is always important to follow the given instructions when using rodenticides.

Using vole bait together with a trapping system makes using hazardous bait safer for non-target animals including pets. Vole trap baits like Kaput rat, mouse & vole bait can be used with Vole Control Bait Station Systems.

Vole Trap Bait

Although the reduction of large vole populations is accomplished most effectively with toxic baits, all rodenticides are designed to kill mammals and can be a hazard to non-target mammals, birds and fish, pets and humans. A better solution is to use bait in conjunction with a trapping system. This is more effective and safer than placing loose bait into vole entrance holes or runways where non-target wildlife may easily reach it. Using vole trap bait also protects it from the weather, preventing it being blown away by the wind or washed away by the rain.

Vole Control Bait Station System

A bait station is an apparatus that holds poison bait so a pest can enter and take or consume the bait. Each Vole Control bait station system consists of 3 bait stations placed in close proximity to each other in an area of vole activity. A poison bait is placed within the bait stations. Each station is identified with a Bait Station Number.

Mark your calendar with a numbered "Check Bait" sticker and systematically check your stations over a period of time for eaten and removed bait. You continue to replace the eaten bait until all the criteria are met within the monitoring system. Once control is achieved in that area, the bait stations can be moved to another Hotspot of vole activity, or left as a permanent safeguard.

Kaput Rat, Mouse & Vole Bait
